Hi friends,

My name is Heather Manfre and I am the founder of A Taming Touch. I started this business to provide specialty care to your best animal friends. I am extremely passionate about animal welfare and take pride in providing modalities of care that include bathing and hygiene to massage and reiki.

I hold a B.S. in Animal Science from the University of Hawai'i at Hilo and 20 years of well rounded experiences from working for veterinarians to managing a dog boutique and wash. I have alsoe worked with many exotic animals at accredited AZA facilities, as well as other programs like sea turtle tagging and stranding studies.

The experiences I have had give me the empathy to connect with pet parents and pets. I am able to teach and explain what care I feel is appropriate and why for your pets based on non-bias resources, as well as personal experience.

The inspiration for my business was a feral dog named Sammy Joe who found her way to me when I was in college. We had many obstacles to overcome with Sam's health, as well as socialization. After a year, Sam finally trusted me and she was my shadow for the next 16+ years. Sam was my greatest teacher and that is why I share her with all of you in my current logo. The love I have for Sammy Joe is the same love I hold for you, my clients and your best friends.

Usui Reiki is energy work that helps to soothe anxiety, pain, and supports a bodies health by clearing blockages of the bodies chakras. Reiki can be done in person, or from a distance.

1. Bath & Brush services are all inclusive with nail & fur trimming. First hour is $125, each additional hour is $75. Bookings should be made at 2, 4, or 6 week intervals.

2. An intake appointment for a massage client is $50. A single encounter for Massage & Re

3. Massage & Usui Animal Reiki Encounter Packages include 5 encounters for $260, and the Intake Encounter fee is waived.

4. These are flat fees that include mileage within 30 minutes of my home base in Englewood, CO
